Florian is a researcher at NEC Laboratories Europe. His interests lie in network and OS/virtualization topics, and their intersection. Currently, he is one of the maintainers of and contributors to the Unikraft unikernel project. Before joining NEC Laboratories, he worked at and received his PhD from RWTH Aachen, Germany on heuristic error recovery techniques for network protocols.
